About the Class
The classes started 7 years ago. It was a community class hold in different community centers on Saturday afternoons.
In the same class, we could find beginners, intermediate and advanced students. All working together on their own individual project.
Sewing was introduced gradually, first as a complement to the class. Then, it became an independant unit developing sewing skills throught technical aspects and theory.
Then, we had to face a shortage of places to hire and the Community Centers became greedy as they were turning into “business centers”. They started charging huge fees for hiring their rooms. We did not feel welcome there.
The outcome ended up working in our favour : I developped the class from home under a different format, took smaller groups and could offer more flexibility and dedicated attention to my students.
The class has grown since the beginning : We have a beginners level in 6 sessions, and different advanced modules of 3 sessions each (sleeve, cowl, trousers…)
